Tacoma Social Justice . org

I’m pleased to mention that some of Tacoma’s leading social activists have entered the t-town blogosphere to help raise awareness for local and global causes. If you made it to this year’s Save Darfur benefit at Doyle’s Pub, then you probably know Jessica, Aurora, Emily, Kendra and Terra!

Please take a moment to visit their site and introduce yourself. They would love to hear from you if you have a passion for social justice and want to write or contribute in any way!

Here’s a quick blurb from their site: tacomasocialjustice.org

Tacoma Social Justice was created in direct response to the lack of local media attention given to social justice issues and events. The purpose of this site is to unite the many social justice movements in Tacoma and provide an outlet for groups to promote events, share action alerts and keep people informed of issues in their community. We hope that this blog will promote advocacy, equality, tolerance and action.
