KEXP goes Static in Tacoma

Subject: KEXP in Tacoma
I started my car this morning to the sound of static. It’s very early and I’m very much still asleep. So maybe my radio is broke? Did my wife change the presets on me? The dial reads 91.7, and as I sadly turn the volume up I can barely make out the faint yet cheerful sounds of … mariachi music??
You said it was going to happen, but I didn’t want to believe you. Do you know that I had to listen to NPR for 20 minutes straight until 90.3 came back in range?? I’m not going to be able to survive like this. For my next pledge to KEXP I don’t want a coffee mug, monogrammed fleece blanket or pullover unisex hoodie. I’d like to be able to listen to KEXP from Tacoma. If that can’t happen I’d settle for a KEXP branded in-dash CD player to replace my tape deck. It can’t be too nice though, I don’t want my car broken into.
