So now what?
It was nice to get to meet a few new friends at the first annual Tacoma bloggers conference. I was told that this whole blogging things becomes easier the more time you spend working at it. As the only person at the table who gave up playing a music instrument after a 3 month attempt, (at the age of 12, it was the alto-sax, because it would fit on my bike rack, and still seemed cool) I must take the advice of those stuck with it and excelled. I’ll assume that both Kevin and Derek are correct. Eventually you develop the necessary callus and reading sheet music doesn’t seem quite so foreign, but there is still one issue; you don’t want to see me in a white and gold polyester band uniform – trust me.
To spare you of that image, what do you think of the questions posed by our discussion of Tacoma web community so eloquently summed up by Derek and Kevin.
I’ve suggested the tacomaness web-forum as a starting place. I’ve seen some really great web-communities come together in interesting ways based on the conversations that spawn from these kinds of tools. Is this too old-school? Will we be forced to all jump into mypace to post our tacoma-based podcasts?? Please let that answer be no…
