The Pierce County AIDS Walk: Thanks you!
It looks like this year’s event was a great success and I thought I’d pass along a great Thank you, thank you, thank you! to all of you out there!

Thank you so much for helping to get the word out on this very important community event.
I’m pleased to inform the commmunity that as of today (10/12/06), over $129,000 has been raised to help provide HIV/AIDS prevention education and care programs to Pierce County. This is an amazing show of community commitment to fighting our community’s epidemic, and it comes at a time when Pierce County continues to have the highest rate of new HIV infections and the second highest incidence of AIDS in all of Washington.
