Art at Work Month
November celebrates the 5th anniversary of Art at Work month. Its goal is to illustrate the collective talent in our city and get people involved in the arts. This month is not just for artists…it is an opportunity for all community members to be an active part of Tacoma’s cultural life. Tacoma is ripe with activity and offers a multitude of events. There really is something for everyone.
Pick up a brochure and check out what’s happening in November. You will find a calendar of events, listing of art exhibits as well as classes & workshops, information about our Arts Symposium, local coffee houses offering specials on Buy an Artist Coffee day, new public art created for the Tacoma Police substations, information about the 2006 AMOCAT Arts Awards, and a complete list of 2005-2006 funding recipients.
